I was in a bad place, it had been over a year since my accident and I was told by the owners of the company, “Oh, we’re going to do this, and oh, we’re going to do that,” and when it came down to it, they did nothing. So, I’m sitting there talking to their vocational rehab person and, “Oh, now we have to find you a job.” Whoa, wait a minute, you mean you have to find me a job? I already have a job. “Oh, they didn’t tell you?” No, they didn’t tell me anything, then they say, “They don’t want to hire you back.”
That’s when I said, okay well this is over with. I’m fixing to call a lawyer, “Well, just make sure and tell them that we’re going to have a personal perk-” No, oh no, you’re going to talk to Hunter and Beck when you need to talk to me. Mr. Yuri Beck was my attorney, and he did me real good, he was always forthcoming, he was always there for me when I needed him. That was one of the things that touched me because I know most lawyers.
