Yuri Beck:
It’s important for me to not only help make my law firm business thrive but to lift up the city of Alexandria at the same time.
Speaker One: It means a lot to think that people not necessarily affiliated with us would like to come in and help us. It shows how good of a community we are as a whole. I greatly appreciate it and speaking on behalf my entire church and community family when I say we greatly appreciate it. We appreciate everything that Hunter and Beck is going to do for us and what they are doing for us right now.
Speaker Two: Christian Love is the church I grew up in since I was Little. My Mom used to go to and brought me to the church and it is so wonderful. We have a great pastor and a great family. Christian Love is a good church.
Yuri Beck: We like to give back and whenever they come we like to have the children who are actually getting the benefit of theses donation come in so we can talk to them and ask them what it is that they actually need and what they are using the donation for, what their hopes are and what they dreams are. We find that we get a lot of good feedback from them and it is also inspiring to us to hear from the youth and maybe inspire some of them to be involved in their communities.
Philip Hunter: The reason we have community groups here and contribute to the groups is that we have represented them, some for 40 years. I know their mothers, I know their fathers and I know in some cases their grandparents and often have represented three generations of the same family. It’s something we do to let the community know that we are with them and that we want to help them however we can. Some of the kids here today told me they wanted to be lawyers. I think associating with us and the law firm and knowing that we help them and looking at the place where we work lets them know that it’s real and not just something on television.
